Understanding myDW Dashboard Notifications
myDW generates real-time notifications to keep users informed of activity across their organization — including recorder and camera changes, user management events, video activity, subscriptions, and more. Notifications appear via the bell icon in the dashboard header and may also be delivered by email or push alert depending on your notification settings.
| Note: New users will only receive notifications generated after their account is created. Activity that occurred before joining the organization will not appear in their notification history. |

- Compatible with all DW VMAX, DW Spectrum, and COVA recorders registered to a myDW account
How to Access Notifications:
Notifications are accessible from any page within the myDW dashboard:
- Click the Bell icon in the top navigation bar to open your notification panel.
- Unread notifications are indicated by a badge count on the bell icon.
- Click any notification to navigate directly to the related item in the dashboard.
- To manage notification preferences, go to Settings > Notifications.
| Note: Notifications are generated from the moment your account is active. If your bell icon appears empty after logging in for the first time, this is expected behavior — notifications will begin appearing as activity occurs within your organization. |
