DW Spectrum 5.0 and CP04 Compatibility Issue

Incompatibility Notice

The DW-CP04, 4-channel analog to IP video Compressor is not compatible when used with DW Spectrum Systems that are running Version 5.0 and up.

Recommended Solution

The DW-CP04 is a discontinued product and is no longer eligible to receive technical support. However, if you must use this product, a workaround to add a camera stream to a DW Spectrum System is to:

• Use the primary RTSP stream of the target camera that is generated by the DW-CP04 unit when adding to the DW Spectrum Server
• An IP camera license must be available for the DW Spectrum Server.

**NOTE: There is no RTSP sub-stream available for the DW-CP04.
