Technical Support End User Policy

As of Autumn 2020, Digital Watchdog expanded support options for end users by providing self-service resources designed to resolve common questions and issues without the need to contact a local security installer. End users are encouraged to utilize Digital Watchdog’s DWAIN AI Chatbot and the DW Knowledge Base. Both resources are available 24/7 and can assist with most troubleshooting questions, system guidance, and general support inquiries.

If the issue cannot be resolved using DWAIN or the DW Knowledge Base, it is recommended that the end user contact their security system installation company for further assistance. If the end user does not currently have an installer and is unable to resolve the issue using the available self-service tools, they may contact their region’s DW Representative to be referred to an authorized installer.

Using the DW Support Page

If you can describe the nature of your question, you can use the DW Support Center to search for guides, advice, and informative articles. Knowing the exact model or device series related to your Digital Watchdog product will yield better results.

To use the DW public knowledge base, click on the Support tab found on the Digital Watchdog homepage.
Once you are on the DW Support Center page, you can ask the DWAIN Chatbot questions or search for Knowledge Base articles by subject.

The engine will search for articles that match the keywords of your search and will display the results depending on perceived relevance to your request.

For example, searching for “password” will result in all knowledge base articles related to password management.
