Factory Reset

This article explains how to restore the DW-CP04 Compressor to factory default settings using the built-in factory reset button.

Important

Performing a factory reset will remove all configured settings and restore the DW-CP04 to its default state. Record any required configuration information before proceeding.

 

Factory Reset Procedure

  1. Confirm the DW-CP04 is powered on.
  2. Locate the FD (Factory Default) button on the unit.
  3. Press and hold the FD button for approximately 10 seconds.
  4. Release the button once the reset process begins.
  5. Allow the DW-CP04 to reboot and complete the factory reset process.

After the reset is complete:

  • The DW-CP04 will restart with factory default settings.
  • Network settings will return to their default configuration.
  • If a DHCP server is available, the unit will automatically obtain an IP address.
  • If DHCP is unavailable, the default IP address will be: 10.20.30.40

Factory Reset Procedure Default Login Credentials

After a factory reset, access the DW-CP04 using the default credentials:

Username: root
Password: root
