Issue Description
Users who have connected their IP device to the C2P integration do not see live text activity displayed on the virtual camera screens in the DW Spectrum Client.
Supported/Affected Devices:
- DW Blackjack C2P Workstation (DW-BJC2P)
Issue Solution
- In the DW Spectrum Client, navigate to the System Administration > Licenses menu.
Verify that the C2P license is valid and that there are enough licenses to cover the number of unique IP devices that are sending data to the integration. - Check that there is a valid DW Spectrum license applied. If there is an expired license or no license, the text will not appear in the DW Spectrum Client.
- Verify that the simulated text traffic works by using the simulator button in the integration GUI. This test should always be run prior to going live with any integration. If the simulator live stream does not display text in the virtual camera view, then traffic will likewise not display in DW Spectrum.
- In the integration GUI, use the “View Log” button to check for data received in the log file. If there is no activity found in the log file, then you may conclude that data is not reaching the integration interface.
- Check for firewall rules or other elements in the network that are blocking the integration listening port. The listening port value can be found in the Advanced menu of the integration GUI.
- Check if the IP appliance is sending data. Use the port listening tool provided in the integration called “PortPeeker”. This tool can be found in:
