Analytics Storage Issues
If you have recently updated the DW Spectrum Server or have re-indexed the archive and are experiencing an error message that states that the storage path is offline for analytics data, it is possible that the analytics storage location is corrupted. To resolve this problem, Administrators can delete the existing data from the archive to clear the corruption and return analytic storage to working order.
This article will outline how to delete existing analytic storage from Windows and Ubuntu systems, effectively resetting the server’s analytic database.
**NOTE: This process will result in the loss of searchable motion and object detection data from existing video archives. However, video recorded beyond the point of this reset will have searchable analytics in return.
