VMAX® IP Plus NVR 3rd Generation Hardware Update

Affected Model Numbers:  DW-VP9-4P, DW-VP12-8P, DW-VP16-16P

New Firmware Version:  DW-VP09 vx.x.x.x, DW-VP12 vx.x.x.x, DW-VP16 vx.x.x.x

Starting in February 2021, DW will be rolling out a new generation of hardware for VMAX® IP Plus NVRs with support for camera resolutions up to 4K.  The new 3rd generation hardware can be distinguished from previous 1st and 2nd generation models by the first letters in the serial numbers, firmware filename, and the physical appearance of the front and rear panel.

Please refer to the table below for more information on how to tell if an NVR is 1st, 2nd, or 3rd generation.
