DW IP Finder™ for Linux®/Ubuntu® OS

DW® is now offering the DW IP Finder™ software for the Linux/Ubuntu OS. DW IP Finder™ has been designed to work with DW®’s entire suite of IP solutions, is also included with all MEGApix® cameras, and is available for free download.

This software is easy to install and will scan the local network for ONVIF compliant DW® cameras, encoders, NAS devices, and recorders. Through a single interface, all results will instantly display in an easy-to-navigate table where users can assign IP addresses to individual or multiple DW® products, manage MEGApix® IP camera passwords, thumbnail preview camera views, and update MEGApix® IP camera firmware.

Linux/Ubuntu System Requirements

Supported OS: Ubuntu 16.04, 18.04, and 20.04
Requirement: GNOME Desktop environment

DW IP Finder™ for Linux/Ubuntu Supported Devices:

DW IP Finder™ for Ubuntu is fully compatible with the following camera models:

DW MEGApix® IP cameras using firmware versions beginning with “A”, “S” (i.e. A6.2.x, A7.2.x, A8.2.x, etc.)
DWC-MBT4Wi28, DWC-MBT4Wi36, DWC-MTT4Wi28, DWC-MTT4Wi36, DWC-MTT4Wi6, DWC-MTT4WiA, DWC-MVT4Wi28, DWC-MVT4Wi36, DWC-MVT4Wi6, DWC-MVT4WiA, DWC-MB94Wi28T, DWC-MB94Wi36T, DWC-MT94Wi28T, DWC-MT94Wi36T, DWC-MT94Wi6T, DWC-MT94WiAT, DWC-MV94Wi28T, DWC-MV94Wi36T, DWC-MV94Wi6T, DWC-MV94WiAT
