Model Number and Serial Number
When purchasing a DW Blackjack® Rack™ Server, the DW Spectrum® IPVMS recording licenses are provided along with the unit. This information can be found on a sticker placed on the exterior of the case.
These licenses are necessary to allow the DW Spectrum Server to archive camera video streams and audio.
Similarly, when contacting Digital Watchdog for RMA or technical support, identifying the product’s model information is a priority. This information can also be located on the exterior of the case.
Use the diagram below if you require visual assistance with locating these items.
**NOTE: It is highly recommended to keep a record of the DW Spectrum IPVMS recording licenses that have been purchased. By documenting the use of licenses (license type, license key, assigned server) the amount of work required if license information is lost due to system failure will be significantly reduced.
