Integrating Bosch IVA Solution into DW Spectrum

When using a Bosch brand IP camera with DW Spectrum, plugins and any other necessary components are within the UI of the camera.

Using Bosch IVA

Alarm Task Editor

You can use any Intelligent Video Analysis Event within the Bosch camera to create an action within DW Spectrum.

  1. Open the camera’s Web Client and access the Alarm > Alarm Task Editor menu.
  2. Enter an API call (HTTP request/command). For example, to set a Crossing Line detection rule:

HttpCommand

Tampering1:={Command(“api/createEvent?Source=Bosch&caption=Crossing line 1 & IP (IP (“192.168.0.156)Port(7001)UserName(Service)Password(“bosch1234)};

                if(VCARule (1,1)) then tampering1;

**NOTE: The UserName’s (Service) and Password (bosch1234) values should be replaced accordingly to match a user profile within the DW Spectrum System. The example command above is in reference to a user profile in the DW Spectrum System that uses a username and password of “Service | bosch1234”.

DW Spectrum Event Rules

When the event occurs, you can create an alarm within DW Spectrum as a Generic Event with different sources, captions and descriptions, resulting in one or more Actions.

  1. Open the DW Spectrum Client and access the Event Rules menu.
  2. In the Event section of the menu, select “Generic Event” and enter information that matches the camera’s HTTP command into the “Source contains” and “Caption contains” fields.
  3. Select the desired action and save the Event Rule.
