Push Notifications

DW Spectrum® Servers can be set up to send mobile notifications to the DW Spectrum® Mobile application (iOS & Android) when preconfigured Events are triggered within the system.

This article will outline how to enable Push Notifications by creating a custom Event Rule in the DW Spectrum® Client.

**NOTE:  For DW Spectrum® Servers that are shielded behind a Firewall or SonicWall, port forwarding may be required for external network communication to be successful. Please contact your IT representative or ISP agent for assistance with port forwarding. DW Support does not offer router support.

**NOTE:  It is recommended that users log into their DW Cloud™ accounts in the DW Spectrum® Mobile application to receive push notifications. Please ensure that the Push Notifications setting is turned ON within the DW Spectrum Mobile application (top menu > Settings) and allow the application to show notifications within the mobile device itself.

Supported/Affected Devices:

  • DW Blackjack® Servers
