Configuring Actions
As illustrated below users are enabled to configure C•CURE event actions by providing appropriate values for the DW Spectrum Server along with a DW Spectrum Camera.
8
C•CURE 9000 Event and Camera Live Video Association
This chapter explains DW Spectrum events and live video associations
Event Assess Overview - 45
If the Monitoring Station Application Layout displays an Assess Event button, a selected Event that includes Assess
Event information can be assessed by pressing this button. The capabilities available when assessing an Event are determined by the Application Layout(s) an Operator can access in the Monitoring Station. These can include:
Configuring Assess
Event assessment is configured using the Administration client application by creating an Application Layout designed to assess Events, then configuring the Events you plan to assess with the viewers that you placed on the Assess Event Application Layout. More details can be found in the C•CURE 9000 user guide.
Live Video Viewer
The Live Video viewer shows a live video view of a camera that is associated with the event. The view that is shown is the Video View object that was configured in the Event. Figure 19 shows the Live Video Viewer. The camera controls for the Live Video Viewer are visible if you hover the mouse pointer at the top of a video pane and hidden if you move the cursor away.
The Live Video Viewer can be created as shown below:
1. Select matrix style and add camera/s to the viewer by dragging a camera onto the right-hand side. Save the view.
2. Go to the Data View Pane and create a new Application Layout. Select Assess View and remove any unwanted panes as shown in Figure 20.
3. Drag Assess Live Video or Assess Recorded Video onto the pane as desired. Save the view.
4. Now go to the Configuration pane and select the event definition to be edited.
5. Edit event and go to Assess Configuration Tab.
6. Set Assess Layout created in step 3.
7. In Assessment Properties section add the Video View created in step 1.
8. Configuration is completed
Operators are now enabled to open the camera viewer when a new event of the configured type comes into Event Viewer.
9
C•CURE 9000 Alerts and Journaling System
This chapter explains DW Spectrum alerts handling by the C•CURE 9000 Journaling System
Journaling Overview - 51
DW Spectrum server connection alerts detected in the integration are generated as C•CURE 9000 Journal messages.
C•CURE 9000 Journal messages may be monitored and respectively handled by the operator in the Activity Monitor window of the Monitoring Station. Depending on requirements users are also enabled to setup respective triggers/actions to be taken once a DW Spectrum alert is triggered. This means C•CURE alerts may be raised accordingly.
Accessing Event Viewer and Activity Monitor
This section describes how access Event Viewer and Activity Monitor in Monitoring Station
To Access Activity Monitor
Figure 23 shows the Event Viewer along with Activity Monitor window
Interpreting Journal Messages - 52
Each journal message provides information enabling users to identify the DW Spectrum system. It also provides details about the C•CURE 9000 object that owns the journal message. Information about the corresponding object is accessed by double-clicking on the message header (see Figure 24). Alternatively users may popup details by right clicking on a message and selecting the Edit option from context menu.
