Non-Responsive Units

A Non-Responsive Unit can refer to a recording unit that experiences:

  • Power Issues
  • Monitor Output Issues
  • Freezing Issues
  • Rebooting Issues
  • Interface Control Issues

When experiencing an issue with a non-responsive unit, identifying the cause of the issue becomes a priority.

This article will provide a flowchart to assist with identifying a possible cause of the issue and how to resolve it.

  • VMAX Series (960H)
  • VMAX A1 Series (2.1 MP)
  • VMAX A1 Plus Series (5 MP)
  • VMAX IP Plus Series

 

Troubleshooting

Use the following flowchart to troubleshoot a non-responsive standalone DVR or NVR unit.
