Web Viewer
When connecting to your DVR through a web browser, you will be required to log in to the DVR, then to install a plug-in before you may begin viewing video from your recording unit.
This article will provide a flowchart for troubleshooting video display issues when using the web viewer to monitor your DVR.
Note: When trying to connect with your DVR through the web viewer, please use Internet Explorer if you want to see video. You may still connect with the DVR using a different browser, but video cannot display without the ActiveX plugin.
Note: If your camera video does not display at the DVR, it is unlikely to display through a web browser. If this is the case, you may be experiencing a camera connection issue and it is recommended to troubleshoot the video loss issue at the DVR.
Supported/Affected Devices
- VMAX Series (960H)
- VMAX A1 Series (2.1 MP)
- VMAX A1 Plus Series (5 MP)
