Video Export/Backup

When exporting video from a DVR, users should use a FAT32 format USB stick with a capacity no greater than 32 GB.  When issues are reported for exporting footage from a DVR, the common causes are usually due to the user having a USB with an incorrect format or size, the desired video does not exist, or the video export setup does not meet the minimum/maximum parameters for video backup.

This article will provide a flowchart for troubleshooting video backup issues.

Troubleshooting

Use the following flowchart to troubleshoot video backup issues when exporting video directly from the DVR.
