Mobile Notifications
VMAX IP Plus Series users have the option to send push notifications with the Mobile Notify feature. Alerts are sent from the NVR to mobile devices and update users about specified event triggers such as:
- Sensor Alerts (external or analytic)
- Video Loss
- Meta Data
- Motion Alarm
- S.M.A.R.T.
- MetaData (IVA+)
**NOTE: The MetaData notification event option must be selected in the NVR’s Remote Notification settings for push notifications. Please consult the VMAX IP Plus User manual for notification setup as needed.
**NOTE: To use push notifications, network ports 9010, 554, and 80 must be port forwarded. Remote mobile devices must connect using a static IP address or a DDNS address for push notifications. Pathfinder connections do not support mobile push notifications.
