RTSP – Real Time Streaming Protocol
The Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) uses TCP communication for an end-to-end connection between devices. Used in combination with DW Spectrum, an RTSP URL can be utilized to connect a device or camera to a DW Spectrum Server if the device cannot be added through an ONVIF protocol.
This article will list the common RTSP URL document for Digital Watchdog’s various camera series.
**NOTE: Alternative methods of obtaining an RTSP URL would be through ONVIF Device Manager (ODM) or through DW Spectrum (working stream).
