Recording Errors

DW Spectrum Servers archive and store camera video to local hard drives as cameras stream video.  On occasion, recording issues may arise as a result of:

  • Sudden power loss
  • Power surges
  • System (hardware or software) failures

If you suspect that the NVR is no longer recording camera footage, please use the following flowchart to troubleshoot your System, prior to contacting Technical Support for assistance.

 

Troubleshooting

Use the following flowchart to troubleshoot recording issues with DW Spectrum.

If you make a mistake, click on the back arrow (to the left of the flowchart) to go back to your previous option in the flowchart.

 

**NOTE:  It is recommended to use either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to use the flowchart.
