Recording Errors

The VMAX A1 Series DVR archives and stores camera video to its local hard drive as cameras stream video.  On occasion, recording issues may arise as a result of:

  • Sudden power loss
  • Power surges
  • System (hardware or software) failures

 

If you suspect that the DVR is no longer recording camera footage, please use the following flowchart to troubleshoot your VMAX A1 DVR, prior to contacting Technical Support for assistance.

Use the following flowchart to troubleshoot recording issues with your VMAX A1 DVR.
