Adding Cameras with Web Client
The DW Spot™ Monitoring Module (DW-HDSPOTMOD) allows viewers to monitor and observe the live video streams from select cameras - available in either a 4-channel model or a 16-channel model. In some cases, cameras will need to be added manually to an HD Spot Mod.
This article will explain how to automatically detect and add an IP camera, as well as how to manually add an IP camera, by using the DW-HDSpotMod Web Client.
**NOTE: The DW-HDSPOTMOD only supports H.264 format from cameras. To change this setting, you may need to connect with the camera's web client and change this output setting before adding it to the HD SPOT MOD.

- Enter the User ID and Password of your camera in the upper-right corner of the window.
- Select the Protocol (ONVIF or RTSP). Select the Channel that the camera will be assigned to on the HD Spot Mod.
- If you are using ONVIF, you will need to manually enter the IP address of the camera. If you are using RTSP, you will need to manually enter the RTSP stream of the camera.
**NOTE: Digital Watchdog Camera Port is set as 80. If the camera is using a different port value, specify the port number at the end of the address (Ex: http://192.168.1.100:8245).
- Click Manual Add, then click Save. The HD Spot Mod Web Client will not display a confirmation message. Confirm that the camera is added and streaming by checking with a display monitor that is directly connected to the HD Spot Mod.
**NOTE: If you need to remove a camera from the HD Spot Mod, you can do so under the Camera Management menu.
