Modifying Maximum Resource Limit
The DW Spectrum Client (desktop) supports the display of up to 64 resources per layout. To ensure optimal performance and a seamless user experience, the Client leverages “Adaptive Scale” technology, which automatically adjusts the resolution of displayed resources. This dynamic scaling helps to maintain smooth operation while significantly reducing CPU usage.
This article will outline how to modify the maximum number of resources that can be displayed per layout.
**IMPORTANT: The default maximum number of resources per layout is preconfigured within the software. Administrators can manually modify this limit by adjusting the system files of DW Spectrum. However, it is generally advised to keep this setting unchanged to avoid excessive CPU use or potential performance degradation.
