DW® Adds 5MP Real-Time 30fps MEGApix® LPR IP Camera

The long-range MEGApix® captures license plates clearly in almost any lighting condition at speeds of up to 50mph.

 

 

Digital Watchdog® (DW®), the industry leader in digital recorders, surveillance cameras and related management software, announces the release of our new line of MEGApix® real-time 30fps 5MP License Plate Recognition (LPR) IP camera. The camera captures the recognizable characteristics of license plates in moving vehicles at up to 50mph in extremely low-light visibility.

This MEGApix® IP camera delivers crystal-clear images at 5MP resolution and real-time 30fps with a 6-50mm long range vari-focal auto-focus lens and motorized zoom. The cameras are engineered to capture license plates of moving vehicles in extreme light conditions, from ranges of up to 60’ at up to 50mph. They deliver simultaneous H.265/H.264/MJPEG codec support. The IP66 weather-resistant housing and Cold Start at -40° F/-40° C assure that license plates are captured clearly and visibly no matter the lighting conditions or weather challenges.
